The weekend was attened by Ventures from around the Slieve Bloom County. When everyone arrived on Friday evening we discussed previous venture groups and our hopes for ventures in the county heading into the future.

The following morning  we headed off for a great morning of games and challenges in Aspire, Clara. Following lunch in Clara scout hall we headed back to Tullamore for swimming in their new swimming pool and of course a bit of grub in Supermacs. The rain poured down on us on our trek back to the Scout Hall but this was soon forgotten after a few round of bowling in Cosmic Bowl,

Unfortunately we couldn’t have a scavenger hunt in Charleville for our dinner!!! due to the unpredictable weather.

I think I am speaking for everyone who was there when I thank all the leaders for giving their time and effort for this very informative and fun event. I hope ventures will be having more events in the county from now on!!
